OverOps agent log when there is no connection

The agent log is stored in the collector's log directory.  Correct?  How can I troubleshoot If the agent never connects to the Collector?

You are correct Sam.   Agent logging is handled by the collector and stored in the agent's log/agents directory.  This is done by default to offload logging i/o cycles to the collector and reduce the performance impact on your application's JVM.  While troubleshooting a connection issue you can force the agent to log locally with the -Dtakipi.logfile argument.

    -Dtakipi.logfile=<path/to/file.log>
