To install OverOps on macOS 10.7 and above:
- Download and run the Takipi.dmg installer. Within the installer you’ll need to enter your installation key. You also have the option to enter the IP address of a proxy server if you are running behind one. Note: OverOps for macOS requires the Oracle / OpenJDK JRE to run. Apple’s Java plug-in is not supported.
- Connect OverOps to your JVM
Verify that OverOps is up and running on your system: head back to app.overops.com, and click
If the installation was successful, a “OverOps is active” message will be displayed, and a green “Monitoring” message will appear next to your JVM(s).
