In some rare cases, OverOps is unable to capture the full code and variable data for certain events. In these cases, the event is displayed in the Dashboard as a 'Flash Hit', with all the data collected, including the full stack trace, but without code or variables data.
Flash hits can be caused by a number of conditions, and should be reported to OverOps support.
In the Dashboard, Flash Hit errors are indicated by a 'Stack Only'. Once additional data is available for the event, it is classified as a regular hit.
Although OverOps is unable to capture the complete code and variables state for an event, it always captures the full stack trace, and where it happened – JVM, server, machine, etc. Flash Hits include all data as regular event excluding the code and variables state.
